Liam & Reece Kelly Memorial Scholarship
About the Scholarship
In honor of Liam and Reece Kelly who were tragically killed in a plane crash on September 20th, 2020, this annual scholarship in cooperation with the Liam and Reece Kelly Foundation will provide a scholarship for cross country athletes at Westfield (IN) High School.
The amount of the scholarship and the number of scholarships awarded will be determined annually by the Kelly Family.
Qualifications:
- WHS senior that has participated in cross country for all 4 years. Special preference for JV athletes.
- Candidates with a GPA of 3.5 or higher will be preferred although 3.0-3.5 GPA will also be considered.
- Athletes must have an acceptance letter to an accredited university or college of his/her choice with intent to start classes the following fall semester.

Liam was a senior and Reece was a sophomore at Westfield High School. Both had goals to attend the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO to pursue aeronautical engineering and ultimately become commercial pilots.
Liam & Reece loved their teammates and this scholarship will be a legacy that will provide support in a way that would bring honor to them both for years to come.
